Nick and Louise started teapigs in November 2006 with one mission – to get the nation drinking real tea again. They met whilst working for a really big tea company, where they learned all about tea and drank lots of it. And the more they learned, and the more they drank, the more they came to realise something: that there's a whole world of quality teas out there that simply aren't getting the attention they deserve. And so teapigs was born.

Paxton Chocolate was set up in December 2012 by Caitlin Paxton upon graduating as a Pastry Chef from the Cordon Bleu. It was here that she developed a passion for chocolate. After feeding samples to grateful friends and family, who always wanted more, Caitlin realized that she could turn this into a business. Everything she does is handmade with attention to detail and quality.
Hario was founded in 1921. Since then the company has been dedicated to the design, production, and sale of heatproof glass and is the only manufacturer in Japan to have a factory. At the time of founding, glass products for science laboratories and medical uses were produced and sold. Nowadays the company has expanded to production of items such as coffee equipment, equipment for tea, cooking equipment, kitchenware and pet products. The heatproof glass that Hario creates is safe to use and is eco-friendly. Thus, the company aims to deliver pleasure to society, to fulfill the customers’ need and wants and to preserve the environment.
AeroPress coffee tastes better because the ground coffee is totally immersed in the hot water, resulting in fast and extensive extraction of the flavour compounds. The AeroPress method shortens brew time to 20-40 seconds, which avoids the unpleasant bitterness created by slower methods. As well, the acid level of AeroPress brew is much less than conventional methods, due to the shorter brew time. In fact, laboratory testing measured AeroPress coffee as having under one fifth of the acid generated by regular drip coffee makers. The end result? Coffee lovers are delighted by the fact that AeroPress brew is more friendly to their stomachs. SMOOTHEST Using the ideal water temperature and gentle air pressure brewing yields rich flavor with lower acidity and without bitterness. RICHEST Total immersion brewing results in uniform extraction of the ultimate in full coffee flavor. Other coffee makers drip hot water on a bed of grounds, over-extracting at the center and under-extracting at the edge. PUREST Micro filtered for grit free coffee – unlike other press-type coffee makers. FASTEST One minute from start to enjoy. The actual press time takes about 20 to 30 seconds. SAFEST The AeroPress is made completely from polypropylene (except the rubber seal), and contains no BPA or phthalates.
