You can use Za’atar as a rub on fish, meat or vegetables both before and after preparation, or you can make marinades, dressings or dips with it. Za’atar gives zest to even the simplest meals. It tastes great when sprinkled on eggs, tomatoes, salads, soups, hummus, grilled fish or veggies…

You can also try out the traditional way of serving Za’atar,that is pure, as a simple tapa with a bowl of oil and good bread, where you first dip the bread in oil and then in the Za’atar.

Mill&Mortar's Za’atar consists of the herbs thyme, oregano and marjoram, which gives it a fresh and herbal touch, a little acidity from sumac and a nutty flavour from roasted sesame.
