Kalita Wave Dripper - Brewing guide

COFFEE

EQUIPMENT:

Kalita Wave Dripper #155 or #185

Kettle

Pitcher

Scale

Timer

Coffee grinder

 

PRODUCTS:

16 gr of coffee (freshly roasted)

250 ml at 95°C temperature

 

Preparation time: 2:30 minutes

 

 

1. Grind your coffee to a medium grind setting

2. Place your Kalita dripper on the pitcher with the filter on it

 

3. Rinse the filter with hot water. It removes any paper taste and pre heats your pitcher. Remove the water.

4. Add the coffee and tare your scale

5. Start your timer

 

6. Pour 50 ml of pre-heated water over the coffee and make sure you moisturize all of it

7. 00:30 min: Add 50 gr of water with circular motions from the center towards the ends of the dripper

 

8. 01:30 min: Repeat 50 gr pour

 

COFFEE

 

9. 02:00 min: Pour the last 50 gr

 

10. Enjoy of the perfect cup of coffee
