Las Nubes - Spanish for “The Clouds” - perfectly captures the misty, high-altitude environment where this elegant coffee is grown. A blend of Caturra, Catuai, and Catimor varietals, it delivers a light body, crisp acidity, gentle fruit notes, and a long, sweetly spiced finish that lingers beautifully on the palate.

Produced in Nicaragua’s Jinotega region, this coffee is the result of the dedicated work of the Caravela Coffee group, who have been pivotal in elevating local coffee quality through structured training in honey and natural processing techniques.

Now featured for a second consecutive year by Colonna Coffee, Las Nubes continues to impress with its clarity, balance, and delicate complexity - a true testament to craftsmanship and terroir.

We are beyond excited to welcome Colonna Coffee to our shelves this month! Based in the historic city of Bath, UK, Colonna is anything but traditional when it comes to coffee. Founded by Maxwell Colonna-Dashwood - a three-time UK Barista Champion and a true visionary in the specialty coffee world - this roastery is known for pushing boundaries and delivering flawless flavour.

From groundbreaking work on coffee capsules and water chemistry, to their meticulous sourcing and roasting, Colonna approaches coffee with precision, passion, and purpose. Every release is treated like a curated experience, with a focus on clarity, varietal expression, and innovation.

We have chosen Colonna not just for their incredible coffees (though yes, they’re stunning!), but because of how they challenge the status quo - making high-end coffee both accessible and exciting.
