Sancho is an Amsterdam-based artist whose playful and expressive style explores spontaneity, imagination and the everyday. After graduating in business in the UK and working in China, he gradually moved from design to art – starting with his wife’s sketches on napkins, which grew into a unique universe of images and characters.

His collaboration with COCO is inspired by the landscapes, people and traditions of Colombia. The “hands” motif symbolizes the collective effort put into the creation of chocolate – from farmers to bakers and chocolatiers. Working in both digital illustration and painting and sculpture, Sancho combines creativity with the practical demands of design, creating packaging that is both meaningful and impressive.
