Gaëtan Saschas, also known as Azaazelus, is a French illustrator whose work combines pop culture, surrealism, and bold graphic elements. With his bright colors and dreamy images, he explores the tension between reality and imagination, creating playful and provocative visual stories.
Before devoting himself fully to illustration, Gaëtan studied at the Beaux-Arts in Angoulême and worked as a pastry chef, an experience that gave him discipline and creativity. His artistic journey also took him to New Zealand, where he lived and worked while developing his unique style.
Today, under the name Azaazelus, he collaborates with international clients such as WIRED, Roland, and Fat Possum Records, while creating original works that inspire curiosity and celebrate difference.
