FOR THE COFFEE

This coffee marks the first arrival from Belco’s pioneering sail-powered transport project, sourced from Tierra Linda in Quindío, Colombia. By shipping coffee on wind-powered vessels, the project significantly reduces transport-related emissions, offering a tangible step toward more responsible and future-minded sourcing.

At origin, the coffee is grown under the shade of guama, plantain, and banana trees, where biodiversity supports healthy plants and slower, more even cherry development. The cherries are hand-picked at peak ripeness, carefully processed, and sun-dried to preserve clarity, sweetness, and balance in the cup.

The result is a coffee that’s as considered in its journey as it is in flavour - expressive, clean and thoughtfully sourced, with a lighter footprint on the planet.

ABOUT Cloud Picker

Cloud Picker e oснована през 2013 г. от Франк Кавана и Питър Щал в Дъблин. След като работят в сферата на графичния дизайн и корпоративното банкиране, основателите предприемат стъпка към ново начинание и отварят собствена пекарна за кафе.
Името "Cloud Picker" идва от пътуването им до Северен Тайланд, където посещават ферма за кафе в района Дой Чанг на границата между Тайланд и Бирма и където се изкачват през облаците, за да видят берачите на кафе! По онова време Тайланд не е известен със спешълти кафето си, така че е интересно да се види какъв път е изминал оттогава.
