FOR THE COFFEE

Core of Espresso is Beansmith's signature base blend - a permanent offering crafted for espresso lovers who appreciate balance, consistency and a classic profile without overwhelming acidity.

This blend brings together 50% naturally processed Brazilian coffee and 50% washed Honduran coffee, carefully selected to complement each other in the cup. The result is a smooth, sweet, and rounded espresso that works beautifully across a wide range of tastes. With its low acidity and comforting flavor profile, Core of Espresso is the perfect introduction to the world of specialty coffee, even for those used to more traditional blends.

Beansmith's roast Core of Espresso specifically for use in automatic espresso machines, making it a reliable and user-friendly choice for home brewers, offices, and cafés alike.

Despite being their most accessible blend in terms of price, they never compromise on quality. Every batch goes through the same rigorous quality control and thoughtful roast profiling as our higher-tier coffees. In a time when green coffee prices are rising globally, we take pride in keeping this coffee affordable while upholding their standards.

Origin & Processing:

ABOUT Beansmiths

Beansmith’s started in 2013 as a small roasting project in a converted smithy near Prague, born out of pure passion for specialty coffee. What began with a basic electric roaster has grown into one of the Czech Republic’s most respected roasteries, now powered by a state-of-the-art Loring for precision and consistency.

Their approach is all about highlighting sweetness, balance and the unique character of each origin. They work closely with trusted producers and return to origin regularly like their recent visit to Colombia - to deepen relationships and understand how premiums impact communities.

Led by founder Petr and a small, dedicated team, Beansmith’s also plays an active role in growing the local coffee scene through cuppings and barista trainings. We’re thrilled to welcome them as our next guest roaster and to share their thoughtful, clean and expressive coffees with you.
