It started as an exclusive summer variant in the summer of 2020, where Cocohagen had been testing continuously to achieve the perfectly balanced flavor, where the coffee is present but still allows the taste of pure cocoa and umami from the large roasted almonds to shine through. It quickly won over customers' taste buds and also took first place as the year's tastiest confectionery at Sol Over Gudhjem. As summer came to an end, there was no doubt; Barista had to become a part of the permanent range at Cocohagen.
Like the rest of the range, Cocohagen Barista is produced in Humlebæk, exclusively using natural ingredients, without added sugar, additives, or preservatives. It is both gluten and lactose-free. 100% organic and plant-based.
