The "La Riviera" farm is located at more than 1700m above sea level in the Risalda region of Colombia, it was founded by Julio César Madrid, 3rd generation of coffee farmer, La Riviera offers excellent climatic conditions, necessary for coffee cultivation. The farm wants to be versatile and excel in all areas, from the selection of grains to compliance with fermentation processes. This attention to detail and this search for new sensations in the cup have made it possible to give rise to innovative techniques such as Culturing. Culturing is mainly limited to the rigor and knowledge of the producer, this method gives rise to coffees transformed by research. It is indeed a new fermentation technique in the world of specialty coffee in which cultures of fruits, aromatic plants and/or microorganisms are used.

ABOUT Tanat

Kawa Coffee is a roastery from France and Alexis Gagnaire is behind its opening.
It all started in 2016 when Alexis, brought together young employees with a focus on creating a team where everyone has a voice. Alexis has a lot of experience in the coffee world and even participated in the 2019 AeroPress Championship, where he took 3rd place, and in 2021 he won 2nd place in the French Roasting Championship.

Although France is known for its gastronomic culture, it is hard to find good coffee in Paris at this time. This surprise prompted Alexis to found Kawa Coffee. The company consists of three main operations. These are wholesale sales to cafes and restaurants, retail sales in the online store and in cafes, and a delivery service for offices.
