Las Perlitas Lot 4 is a remarkable blend curated by Stephen Vick of The Coffee Quest, combining exceptional microlots from smallholder farmers in Colombia’s Huila region. This lot features a diverse array of varieties, including Pink Bourbon, Yellow Bourbon, Geisha, and Caturra, each contributing unique characteristics to the cup. 

The Las Perlitas project addresses the challenge of small-scale farmers producing high-quality lots that are too limited in volume for individual export. By meticulously selecting and combining these “little pearls,” the project creates export-ready lots that showcase the best of each producer’s harvest. 

Prodigal Coffee received this exceptional lot just one week after milling, a logistical achievement that preserves the coffee’s freshness and integrity. The result is a vibrant cup with bright flavors of orange, peach, and grape, reflecting the dedication and expertise of both the farmers and The Coffee Quest team. 

This collaborative effort not only brings outstanding coffee to consumers but also supports smallholder farmers by providing them access to international markets, ensuring their exceptional coffees are recognized and enjoyed worldwide.
