A little blue. No, really. This is yoga for the mind, without the embarrassing leotard or spine-cracking back bends. Oolong, like green tea, is reputed to keep you skinny and young. Let’s hope it’s true.

This tea will deliver the strength of a black tea, with the aromatic, flowery flavours of a green tea.

Pure oolong tea

Dairy free, gluten free, suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Made in a factory that handles nuts.

What is special about this tea?

" Stand tall, chest out, rise above those regular tea drinkers, for you have chosen a tea of champions. Oolong is a part-fermented tea which means it sits between green tea and black tea in strength and flavour. So much more than a half-way house, this tea should be savoured. Taiwan is the home of great oolong teas, and the Tung Ting mountain is where this standout oolong is produced. An complex fruity taste over a smooth, mellow, green-tea-like base. Enjoy, then tell your mates – ‘I am an oolong drinker!’ and be proud. "

for teapigs

Nick and Louise started teapigs in 2006 with one goal in mind – to get the English drinking real tea again. They met while working for a major tea company, where they learned all about tea and drank a lot of it. And the more they learned, and the more they drank, the more they realized something important: that there was a huge world of quality teas that weren’t getting the attention they deserved. And so the idea for teapigs was born.

By quality, real tea, teapigs mean whole leaves, whole fruits, whole spices and whole flowers. Without the powdered ingredients found in most tea bags. It's all about the taste. The tea in most tea bags is crushed and brewed so that by the time it reaches the cup, almost all the flavor is gone. Teapigs reject this approach. The whole leaves, fruits, herbs, flowers and spices in teapigs teas are carefully and lovingly prepared to preserve every drop of that precious flavor.
