Piment d’Espelette is the only DOP/AOC certified spice in France and has cult status in the gourmet world.
It is an elegant, medium-sized pepper with light-drawn notes, produced in the French part of the Basque Country. In flake form, it can be used as a sprinkled spice on all your favourite dishes.
