The Origin of PAPER & TEA Chocolate

In collaboration with ORIGINAL BEANS and master chocolatier Kevin Kugel, our remarkable tea-infused chocolate line has emerged. This artful process developed by Kevin Kugel allows us to subtly blend our high-quality tea with the fine chocolate from ORIGINAL BEANS while preserving the perfect balance of flavors. Following a complex procedure, the tea is gently extracted into liquid cocoa butter. The Master Chocolatier Kevin Kugel refines for us this creamy white chocolate with the grassy notes of our Japanese SHINTO MATCHA.

The origin of the tea

This white chocolate is made from Swiss Alpine milk and fine Trinitario cocoa butter sourced from organic cocoa gardens in the golden valley of the Río Yuna in the Dominican Republic. Our partner, the chocolate pioneers at ORIGINAL BEANS, is committed to the targeted planting and care of new trees in the cocoa-growing areas—one for every bar of chocolate purchased directly from them. ORIGINAL BEANS stands for sustainability, community empowerment, and regenerative agriculture—their dedication has been honored with numerous awards, including retaining the title of World's Most Sustainable Chocolate in 2024.
