Behind SOLO lies the story of Aldea Global, a Nicaraguan cooperative that began with just 22 farmers and a vision for change. Now supporting close to 8,000 smallholders, Aldea provides tools, loans, and training to improve lives and livelihoods. Their programmes are also helping women to secure land ownership and leadership roles, creating real change and opportunity for future generations.

We are beyond excited to welcome Colonna Coffee to our shelves this month! Based in the historic city of Bath, UK, Colonna is anything but traditional when it comes to coffee. Founded by Maxwell Colonna-Dashwood - a three-time UK Barista Champion and a true visionary in the specialty coffee world - this roastery is known for pushing boundaries and delivering flawless flavour.

From groundbreaking work on coffee capsules and water chemistry, to their meticulous sourcing and roasting, Colonna approaches coffee with precision, passion, and purpose. Every release is treated like a curated experience, with a focus on clarity, varietal expression, and innovation.

We have chosen Colonna not just for their incredible coffees (though yes, they’re stunning!), but because of how they challenge the status quo - making high-end coffee both accessible and exciting.
