Грижа за вашата KeepCup чаша

Caring for your KeepCup cup

The best reusable beaker is the one you repeatedly use.

The right care for your KeepCup cup will increase the pleasure of using the KeepCup, and simultaneously extend her life. It is important to choose a product that is most appropriate for your needs.

In motion

The products of the KeepCup are intended to replace the single-use glasses-they are not a thermos. The lid protects against leakage, but is not impermeable.

KeepCup Brew Is Designed To Enhance The Sense Of The Senses Of Your Coffee Ritual. The glass is tempered, which means it's very strong, but it's still possible to break. In the event of release or rapid changes of extreme temperatures, the glass may crack or break. Do not pour cold liquids into a hot cup and do not place a hot cup on wet, cold surfaces.

Cleaning

Be careful-do not use abrasive materials during cleaning.

In everyday use, we recommend quick rinsing as well as a nice wash once a week.

Keeping your KeepCup clean, providing a great coffee experience for both you and your barrista-make sure you give them your cup clean.

All lids, silicone bands and components are designed for easy care. They can be washed in a dishwasher in the top row.

Transparent plastic

The tritan can be complex in the dishwasher, but fats and oil in the dishwasher may cause a blurred vision.

Cork ...

The cork is best held in gentle washing of hands. The removal of the corkstrap risks damage as it has to pass on a convex part of the glass. Do not remove the girder for general cleaning. If you still need to take it off, follow these instructions:

When the cork is washed, it can be enlarged and expanded. Place the glass with the hole on a clean surface in a warm place. Carefully place the pen and allow it to dry well.

Heating up

The keepCup glasses support the heat from a microwave oven-always without a lid-to 100 °C/212 °F.

Exceptions: lid, transparent plastic, cork.

Extreme temperatures will damage the plastic. If the glass is crushed in the dishwasher or left too long in the microwave, it could change its shape.

End of life cycle

Recycling is a last resort. Use again.

The numbers on plastic products are an indicator of the type of plastic used. Plastic, classified with #7 most often cannot be recycled at home. The transparent tritan and PP #7that the KeepCup uses can be commercially recycled.

Polypropylene (PP#5) cups, shutters and stoppers (LDPE #4) can be recycled through most household recycling systems. The glass is tempered, which makes it inappropriate for recycling. No broken glass is recycled.

The cork can be composted directly.

By the end of 2017, the KeepCup had recycled old silicone bands in their warehouses. Currently in Australia and in the UK the silicon goes to total waste because it cannot be recycled but only cut and recycled if it is in large quantities.

In the United States, the KeepCup works with the specialized company Eco USA, which collects and recycles silicone bands, making them silicone oil, which is used to create new products.
