FOR THE COFFEE

One of the juiciest Kenyan coffees QUO has sourced in recent years, this lot comes from the renowned Karumandi Factory, established in 1961. The factory is part of the Baragwi Cooperative Society, celebrated for its consistent, high-quality production in Kirinyaga.

Karumandi takes its name from the abundance of moles found in the area and is situated on the fertile slopes of Mount Kenya, at around 1700 masl. Here, the rich volcanic soils provide ideal growing conditions for exceptional coffee.

Founded in Skärhamn on Sweden’s Bohuslän coast, QUO Coffee is led by CEO and head roaster Christian Gullbrandsson, alongside Sarah Gerlam Madura (Head of Wholesale & HR) and Hayden Moyle (Creative Director & Head of Retail & Communications).
